Radebeul inspired two famous writers: Karl May and Gerhart Hauptmann. Even the Duke of Wackerbarth was delighted with the area and crowned its beauty by building a castle. In the Baroque source of excellent white and sparkling wines, a special treat awaits the visitor: the birth of the cuvée.
Connoisseurs will greatly enjoy a visit to the Saxon Wine Route: vintners’ houses nestle in the steep vineyards, and in the midst of all this the former royal winery of Hoflössnitz emerges as a captivating vineyard museum.
