Families who take their holidays in Saxony love discovery and adventure – or just a quiet time. In the Elb Sandstone Mountains, hikers become speleologists and mountaineers. In the Ore Mountains they work their way down to the roots of silver-ore mining. In the valleys of castles and stately homes, visitors are transformed into noblemen and damsels.
